Tomaž Plahuta, born 8 July 1971 in Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia
In 2002 he graduated in visual communication design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Since 2004, he has been a freelance visual communications designer working in trademark management, graphic design, branding design, interior design and pr management.
In the field of graphic design he has specialized in designing corporate identities, designing books, branding design and packaging design.
Since 1996 he has been the artistic director and co-founder of publishing house Založba Eno, one of Slovenia's leading publishing companies in its field, from Nova Gorica. He has been actively interested in anthropological studies, such as the shamanism of Central and South American tribes, which for him are a source of practical knowledge about world mythologies and the use of ancient symbolic languages.
Lately he has been switching between Ljubljana, Vienna, Barcelona, Mexico and Peru.
